Chiefs vs 49ers

We had a friend give us tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday. We were excited to go because they were playing the San Francisco 49ers. It wasn't much of a game, the Chiefs stomped the 49ers but it was soooo much fun to go to our first NFL game!

Fantastic Caverns

Missouri is known as the Cave State and since we moved here two years ago we have talked about going to Fantastic Caverns.....So we finally went! It is a beautiful cave with lots of history too!

A visit to Eureka Springs Arkansas

We decided to do a weekend drive to Eureka Springs Arkansas. This is an old mining town and reminded us alot of Park City Utah. We had a fun time exploring all the little shops and the highlight of the trip for Jordan and Schon ( the ghost hunter) was this picture...ya see this is the Cresent Hotel, it was once a hospital and they say it is haunted! They do ghost hunting tours in the evening but Brandon and I were totally against doing the tour, maybe next time Jordan and Schon will have to go without Brandon and I....we are scaredy cats!!!

The boys on the balcony of the Cresent Hotel...you can still stay there in fact there was a wedding going on while we were there!

Utah Trip!

What a super fun vacation we had visiting Family and Friends and getting to share in some special memories as a family! We had Jordan's Baptism and we are so proud of his decisions and the sweet young man he is becoming! I attended the temple for the first time and I am so thankful for my FAMILY! We got to spend the week playing with all of our cousins swimming, seeing movies, sleepovers.....and just playing and hanging out together! It was so good spending quality time together! Love you all!!!!

Oklahoma City Memorial

This was a humbling experience...driving through Oklahoma we stopped to see the Oklahoma City Memorial.

Each chair represents the people who lost their lives that day.

The old Route 66

We had a great time riding and seeing some of the historic sites of Route 66 on our way to and from Utah!
